State Space Design Methods in Control

Course Description:

This course deals with design methods; time domain modeling; trajectories and phase plane analysis; similarity transforms; controllability and observability; pole placement and observers; linear quadratic optimal control; Lyapunov stability and describing functions; simulation.

Recommended Prerequisites

GE 320 or equivalent, and MATH 225 or equivalent
